ITINAKDA ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa 1.47 trillion pesos ang budget ng Marcos administration para sa “Build Better More” infrastructure sa ilalim ng proposed 7.2-trillion peso National Expenditure Program (NEP) sa 2027.
Sa statement, sinabi ng DBM na ang 1.47 trillion pesos na budget para sa imprastraktura ay katumbas ng 4.4% ng gross domestic product (GDP).
Mas mataas ito ng 13.8% o 178 billion pesos kumpara sa 1.29 trillion pesos na budget sa ilalim ng 2026 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Malaking bahagi ng proposed infrastructure budget sa susunod na taon o 42.2% ay inilaan para sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na nasa 619.04 billion pesos.
