Ayon kay DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez, sisimulan ang programa sa sandaling matanggap nila ang notice of cash allocation mula sa Department of Budget and Management.
Saklaw ng fuel subsidy ang mga bus, traditional at modern jeepney, taxi, transport network vehicle service drivers, delivery riders at tricycle drivers.
Nilinaw ni Lopez na nationwide ang gagawin nilang pamamahagi ng fuel subsidy upang matulungan ang transport sector sa epekto ng kaguluhan sa Middle East.
