Inaprubahan ng Department of Budget and Management ang pagpapalabas ng 8.08 billion pesos na pondo para sa mga priority projects sa 800 insurgency-cleared barangays.
Ang pondo ay nasa ilalim ng Local Government Support Fund–Support to the Barangay Development Program para sa National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict o NTF-ELCAC.
Inaprubahan ni Budget Secretary Rolando Toledo ang Special Allotment Release Order nitong March 17.
Layunin nito na tugunan ang mga ugat ng insurgency sa pamamagitan ng community-driven development.
Kabilang sa popondohan ang farm-to-market roads, school buildings, water systems, health stations, at electrification projects.
