Kinumpirma ng Office of the Senate President na nai-transmit na sa Malakanyang ang enrolled copy ng Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bill.
Ito ay makaraang lagdaan ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang MIF bill nitong Lunes at ibinalik sa Senado kahapon.
Isinumite ang enrolled bill sa pamamagitan ng Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO).
Samantala, inaasahang magpupulong ngayong araw ang Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) para talakayin ang mga priority bills para sa 2nd regular session ng 19th Congress.
Ayon kay Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, ilan sa patuloy nilang bibigyang prayoridad ang National Disease Prevention Management Authority o CDC; Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps; Internet Transactions Act; Amendments to the BOT Law o Public Private Partnership; Revitalizing the Salt Industry; Magna Carta for Filipino Seafarers; LGU Income Classification; Ease of Paying Taxes at ang Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System.
Hindi pa naman kasama sa talaan ng priority measures ang Philippine Defense Industry Development Act; Amendment to the AFP Modernization Law; Tatak Pinoy at Blue Economy. —sa ulat ni Dang Garcia, DZME News
