Inaprubahan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang panukalang fare discount para sa Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) at nakatakda itong ipatupad sa Metro Manila sa Abril. Ayon sa LTFRB, ibabalik sa P9 ang pasahe sa traditional jeepneys habang P11 sa modernized jeepneys at mababawasan naman ng P3 hanggang P4 ang pasahe sa mga bus.
