Inilabas na ng Gov’t Technical Working Group sa pangunguna ng Dep’t of Information and Communications Technology, ang Implementing Rules and Regulations ng Executive Order no. 32 o ang streamlining o pagpapabilis ng proseso sa pagbibigay ng permit para sa pagtatayo ng telecommunications at internet infrastructure sa bansa.
Sa Joint Memorandum Circular no. 2023-01, ia-adopt ang unified application form sa lahat ng siyudad at munisipalidad, para sa permit applications sa shared passive telecommunications tower infrastructure.
Kasama rin ang pagtatayo ng poles, aerial at underground cables at facilities, underground fiber ducts, ground terminals, at iba pang telco at internet facilities.
Magse-setup din ang mga LGU ng One-Stop Shop na magbibigay ng frontline services sa aplikasyon ng permits.
Ipagbabawal na rin ang pagdaragdag ng iba pang national o local permit o clearances, kaakibat ng Zero-Backlog Policy. —ulat mula kay Harley Valbuena, DZME News
