Ikakasa ng Dept. of Transportation ngayong linggo ang pamamahagi ng bilyung-bilyong piso na fuel subsidy sa mahigit isang milyong tsuper sa buong bansa na apektado ng serye ng oil price hike.
Ayon kay DOTr Sec. Jaime Bautista, ang P3-B subsidiya ay ibibigay sa susunod na dalawang araw, o sa September 15, sa 6,000 modernized public utility jeepney operators, 150,000 jeepney drivers and operators, 500 modernized utility vehicle express operators, 20,000 utility van express operators, 930,000 tricycle drivers and operators, 150,000 food delivery riders, at iba pa.
Sa ngayon, nakikipag-ugnayan na ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board sa LandBank, Dept. of the Interior and Local Goverment, Dept. of Trade and Industry, at Dept. of Information and Communications Technology para sa pamamahagi ng mahigit P6-K hanggang P10-K subsidiya sa naturang mga driver at operator.
