Magsasampa na ng impeachment complaint ngayong alas nueve ng umaga ang coalition of civil society leaders laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ang hakbang ay bilang reaksyon sa ruling ng Korte Suprema noong Jan. 30, 2026 na ideneklarang unconstitutional ang first impeachment complaint noong nagdaang taon.
Pangunahing complainants sa tinawag nilang “first and historic impeachment complaint against the Vice President” si Kiko Aquino Dee, co-convenor ng Tindig Pilipinas, former peace secretary Ging Deles, 2025 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee Fr. Flavie Villanueva, youth and sectoral leaders at iba pa.
Nasa ipa-file na five (5) Articles of Impeachment ang umano’y culpable violations of the constitution, graft and corruption, bribery, betrayal of public trust, and other high crimes.
Kabilang sa charges ang pagkontrata sa assassin para ipapatay si PBBM, First lady Liza Marcos, at former Speaker of the House.
– Misuse of hundreds of million in public funds through confidential at intelligence expenses.
– Allege bribery, pagkamal ng illigal na yaman, at money laundering.
– Pagkakaroon ng unexplained wealth at kabiguang i-disclose ang mga properties sa SALN ng Bise Presidente, at
– Pagpapagana ng extra-judicial killings at plot para i-destabilise ang gobyerno.
