Inanunsyo ng Presidential Communications Office ang appointment ni Sadang, na papalit kay former PCGG Chairman John Agbayani.
Mababatid na ang PCGG ang ahensyang nilikha upang bawiin ang umano’y mga nakaw na yaman ng pamilya Marcos.
Samantala, pinangalanan din si former Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Director Asis Perez bilang Undersecretary ng Dep’t of Agriculture, habang inappoint si Jesus Nathaniel Martin Gonzales bilang Undersecretary ng Dep’t of Transportation.
Itinalaga rin si Ethel Valenzuela bilang Commissioner ng Commission on Higher Education, Nathaniel Arevalo bilang Deputy Director General ng Intellectual Property Office, at Jason Barlis bilang Chairman ng Legal Education Board ng Korte Suprema.
