Itatayo sa Tanay, Rizal ang Workers Rehabilitation Center na magbibigay-daan sa pagbabalik ng mga manggagawang mahihinto sa trabaho dahil sa iba’t ibang suliranin.
Sa Labor day with the President Ceremony sa Malacañang na pinangunahan ni Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ngayong Mayo 1, Labor day, nilagdaan ang memorandum of understanding para sa site development plan ng 50 ektaryang rehab center.
Ito ay susuporta sa ‘Balik Buhay Manggagawa’ para sa mabilis na pag-rekober ng mga empleyadong matitigil sa trabaho dahil sa work-related disabilities o injuries.
Ang rehab center ay proyekto ng Dep’t of Labor and Employment, Dep’t of Human Settlements and Urban Development, Dep’t of Public Works and Highways, Dep’t of Environment and Natural Resources, at Dep’t of the Interior and Local Gov’t.
Popondohan ito ng Employees’ Compensation Commission, Social Security System, at Gov’t Service Insurance System.
