Inanunsyo ng Presidential Communications Office ang appointment ni Ledesma, na magsisilbi ring member ng expert panel ng PhilHealth Board of Directors.
Matatandaang si Ledesma ay unang itinalagang acting chief ng PhilHealth noong Nobyembre 2022.
