Nasa 90 unauthorized Chinese vessels ang namonitor sa West Philippine Sea ngayong buwan, ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Sinabi ni Philippine Navy spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad, nadokumento nila ang presensya ng People’s Liberation Army Navy at China Coast Guard sa Bajo de Masinloc, Pag-asa Island, Ayungin Shoal at Escoda Shoal.
Pinakamarami anya ang nakita sa Bajo de Masinloc na umabot sa 49; sinundan ng Pag-asa Island na may 15 barko; 14 sa Ayungin Shoal; at 12 sa Escoda Shoal.
Ayon kay Trinidad, patunay ito ng illegal, coercive, aggressive at deceptive actions ng China at hindi pagsunod sa rules-based international order.
Maituturing din anya itong paglabag sa ating territorial integrity, sovereignty at sovereign rights.
Hindi naman anya magpapatinag ang AFP sa pakikipaglaban para sa teritoryo at karapatan ng bansa.
